Our Instructors

Ellen:

ellen-g-tissu-split-smallBeing one of those kids who was always cartwheeling and climbing trees, starting aerials was a very natural progression for me. I started circus classes as a teenager and loved them so much that I decided to move to China to train full-time after graduating high school. Wanting to share the skills I’d learnt, after returning to Brisbane I started teaching a range of aerials classes, most recently at Pole Fitness Australia.
One of my favourite things about teaching is seeing students achieve things they never thought they were capable of – it’s so rewarding to see people’s hard work rewarded with incredible improvements in strength, flexibility, and of course beautiful skills.

Having exercised all my life, I am very passionate about keeping fit & healthy. I have recently taken the plunge in changing my career in Finance to be part of the Fitness Industry. I have been practising Yoga for over 11 years, teaching Pole Fitness for 5 years and Pilates Instructor for 2 years. I have recently completed Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness as a Personal Trainer and am currently studying my 200YT Yoga Teacher qualification and Diploma in Business Administration.
It is my personal goal to help others achieve their fitness goals and to be the best version of themselves through building a strong, healthy body and promoting confidence.

Tiffany:

tiffanyAs a mother of 3 looking to lose some post pregnancy weight, I still remember apprehensively signing up for my first beginner’s class. Early on, lacking co-ordination, I was certainly not a natural, but loved the exercise.
What kept me coming each week was the fun I was having, the fantastic ladies I was sharing my classes with, and the enjoyment of finding a little ‘me’ time each week. Before long I found myself entering the advanced levels of pole and achieving things I never thought possible. It was here that my addiction and passion for pole dancing grew. Training several times a week, my strength increased and before long those ‘difficult’ moves became easier and easier, and fed my passion to learn and do more, and eventually train as a pole fitness instructor.

I have now performed all across Australia as well as overseas, and even on a cruise ship! I have competed in numerous pole competitions both at a national and international level and in 2012 had the opportunity to represent Australia and compete in the doubles division at the first ever World Pole Sports Championships in London.

As an instructor, it is so rewarding to see the transformation in women everyday as they gain confidence, lose weight, strengthen and tone their bodies, make friends, and have fun and laugh all the way. I love having the opportunity to share my knowledge, skills and experience with others. Come join me on the pole! :)
