Pole dancing - it's the latest fitness craze. Pole Fitness Australia, Queensland's first pole dancing studio, operates in BRISBANE, GOLD COAST, SUNSHINE COAST, IPSWICH, and many more locations.

Pole Dancing is said to be the favourite exercise method of such celebrities as Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Kate Moss. It's spread like bushfire from the USA to Canada and Europe, and is a great fitness alternative for the average woman who wants to do something out of the ordinary. That's why Queensland entrepreneur Mel Murphy could see that there was a demand for a pole dance studio in Brisbane and decided to open Pole Fitness Australia at Arana Hills to give Queenslanders the opportunity to join in as well.

We pride ourselves as being the first pole dancing fitness studio in Queensland and will set a benchmark for the industry to follow. We are a professional operation, focused on expansion, and ran a Queensland team in the Australian Championships.

Tone up the fun way - a pole does it all...

Lisa If you want to tone up the fun way then pole dancing is the way to go. Throw out those running shoes and weights - a pole does it all! Pole dancing is the alternative fitness method for women. It has been tested for cardio levels by the A.I.S. and there is an International Championship every year.

Pole dancing is one of the most effective ways to build upper-body strength, which many women lack. A good pole session can also burn off more calories than the same amount of time spent at a gym.

The transformation can be dramatic...

After a few weeks of pole dancing the transformation can be dramatic. The harder you work, the greater the increase in muscle tone and definition in the arms, waist, buttocks, and thighs. Plus it's great for the legs. Once a certain level of skill is achieved, the movements on the pole actually work out the whole of the body, increasing flexibility and improving posture, and there's the psychological benefit of the extra physical confidence.
